Counseling Department Vision Statement 
      Our vision is to be committed to the provision of a safe, nurturing, environment where the entire learning community addresses the unique developmental needs of adolescents and collaborates freely to ensure each student develops into a productive, reflective, caring, ethical, and contributing member of society.  

Counseling Department Mission
      It is our mission to provide a proactive comprehensive and developmentally appropriate program to address students' academic, social, emotional, and career goals in addition to supporting their personal and social needs.  This is accomplished through a partnership with parents/guardians, staff, and community members to enable all students to become successful, productive, contributing citizens and lifelong learners in a diverse and changing world.  
 
LMS School Therapist

    School-Based Mental Health Counseling is offered through APEX Mental Health Program. APEX provides a comprehensive program for children and adolescents dealing with a variety of mental health challenges.  If you would like to make a referral for APEX counseling, contact your child's grade-level counselor.  For more information about the APEX Program, Please click the links below to download the flyers in English and Spanish.
